Escape to safety

Sometimes Tilopa surpasses even Buddha and Jesus. Maybe because Buddha talked to the masses. And Tilopa is talking to Naropa.

When you talk to a very evolved disciple, you can bring the highest down. Talk to the masses - and you have to make compromises.

Jesus had very ordinary disciples, in that way, very ordinary. And his teachings could not go to that height, where Buddha can go easily.

But nothing to compare with Tilopa. He searched for a single man, an evolved soul - Naropa.

That's why the teaching has taken a flight, to the very farthest corner of the sky.

Dewi damanam '18

There are 2 paths - path of a warrior and path of a king.
Yoga is the first, Tantra the second.

Almost all religions follow the path of yoga, the path of subjugation.
A soldier, has to follow.

king simply lives loose and natural.
Tantra does not use conditioned reflexes.
It says you have to flower into a perfectly awakened being - not like a robot-like mechanism.

Suddenly it comes, when you are ready. Even footsteps aren't heard.   It has bloomed.

Regulus moon

Gods sent Apsaras - nymphs of still waters - to earth, so they distract Nara and Narayana from their withdrawal and austerities.

Infuriated Nara harrumphed at them.

In fear, they scurried to bait the soft target - Narayana.
He smiled at them - he was beyond anger and lust.

And tapped his Uru or thigh - from where Urvashi appeared. Her beauty and grace put the apsaras to shame.

They realised that their mission had failed.

Lenten withdrawal

The six streams of classical self-exploration are hinged around sense-withdrawal, or Pratyahara.

Without this withdrawal, they all become unhinged and dysfunctional.

Sarasiruha - bloom of still waters

The Buddhas point towards consciousness.
If you can sit silently, doing nothing - the spring is not far away.

The spring is bound to come.
It always comes - in silence.

As water flows downwards, your being rises upwards.
Just give it  a chance - give it solitude.

Krttika - the star of fire

The gods beamed with silent pride.

For, without their cooperation and efforts, it would not be possible for the archer, to blow up the alignment.

And Shiva aborted launch; stepped down from the vehicle.

Gazed at the conjunction.

Became radiant, broke into a smile.

It proved too much for the alignment.

It bloomed into flames.

third quarter at Aslesha

Words move, music moves
Only in time; but that which is only living
Can only die. Words, after speech, reach
Into the silence. Only by the form, the pattern,
Can words or music reach
The stillness, as a Chinese jar still
Moves perpetually in its stillness.
Not the stillness of the violin, while the note lasts,
Not that only, but the co-existence,
Or say that the end precedes the beginning
And the end and the beginning were always there
Before the beginning and after the end.
And all is always now.
